HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!
Yes, China seems to have two for some reason.
“Qixi Festival aka the Night of Sevens aka Chinese Valentine’s Day is Thursday, August 23rd. While the festival used to be associated with getting married, these days, it’s more like a second Valentines Day. According to legend, if it rains during this holiday, it means that this couple that were separated by a Goddess are shedding their tears from the Heavens in the form of raindrops. The traditional custom for Qixi involved girls dressing to impress, cooking and praying for a husband. The night would end with gathering together and stargazing.”
