It was supposed to snow yesterday. It didn’t. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will actually snow in Shanghai over Christmas, have had too many years of sweltering hot ones. My trip to New York was my one chance of a white Christmas and the snow decides to get lost and find its way to us two days post-Christmas. Nice one.
Enough of the snow rant.
Instead of snuggling up under a blanket in front of the fireplace, Moscow-based photographer Andrew Osokin took full advantage of the first sign of snow and managed to capture these amazing macro photographs of snowflakes.
Imagine the positions he would have had to be in to ensure perfection of the angles and the smallest of details. Impressive, Osokin managed to capture a world that would otherwise go unnoticed through his series of photographs. It’s no wonder they say that no two snowflakes are the same.
