Letters that Pop

February 4, 2015 By Shermaine Leave a Comment

Having a personal interest in hand-lettering, I flip through a whole lot of stuff on a daily basis. This particular one caught my attention today – Turkish graphic designer and electrical engineer Tolga Girgin experiments with calligraphy, making the letters seem to pop off the page. Through shading, shadows and different forms of perspective, they’re given a new kind of life on the page. Really cool.
