Vintage cameras and wings. What more could you ask for. I have always had a minor obsession with vintage cameras. Can I use them? No. But I think that they look wonderful and have always fascinated me - note to those who are (for some strange reason) attempting to make a good impression. As for wings, the blog name should say it all... Paul Octavious clearly likes those two things as well, and . . .
Take My Hand
Murad Osmann and his girlfriend Natalia Zakharova travel the world. "Big whoop, so do many others", you might say. However, they put their own unique spin to their photos and word about them have spread far and wide. "Follow Me" was the title of the photo series posted on Murad's Instagram account - and follow him the world did. The music video producer now boasts of 254k followers. "The first . . .
Drop
Manchester-based photographer Dave Wood borrowed his friend's Nikon camera four years ago and soon found himself becoming addicted to photography. After having a play with a couple of different styles, he found his weapon of choice: Macro photography. Wood's macro photography focuses on nature (pun not intended) - but not exactly your regular floral, tree trunk or bumblebee. Check this . . .
Simplicity
I'm a bit of a social networking addict and in between this blog, facebook, twitter, pinterest and instagram...tumblr somehow always gets tossed aside for some reason. Then you come across finds like this, and you wonder why it got lost somewhere along the line. These are just a few pictures I came across on eight letter word's tumblr. I definitely do like what I see. . . .
Perfect Pairs
Today marks our six year anniversary. The first boyfriend. The ex-best friend. The one who I asked not to tell anyone when we first started dating, just in case it didn't last longer than a week (everyone found out anyway). However, looks like it worked out just fine... This is just something that I was going to blog about a long time ago, but never got around to it. Let me just be sickly sweet . . .
Orient Express
Jason Kibbler mixed orient with a bit of mod, and photographed Ginta Lapina in this series seen within the pages of Vogue Spain (Feb 2013). Perhaps it is the stark contrasts, the black & white photography, the silhouettes of the clothing, or the model's amazing cheekbones - the results are kinda stunning. via TrendLand . . .

Fruits of Labour
Came across this little food photography gem today. We've seen enough photography where every single shot seems to looks amazing, just because they have mastered the use of a macro lens. All food seems to look better close up. Alexis Clements changes things up a little and lines her ingredients up in an orderly manner. Attention to detail, careful arrangement, and awareness of light. Every photo . . .
Instagram Creativity
When Instagram decided to update its original terms of service for 2013, there was endless backlash and it soon backed down. However, Instagram users still seem to be fleeing in large numbers; the photo-sharing app lost more than half of all its active users in the past month, pushing numbers down from 16.3 million daily active users to 7.6 million. It didn't, however, chase away video-maker . . .
The Life of a Snowflake
It was supposed to snow yesterday. It didn't. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will actually snow in Shanghai over Christmas, have had too many years of sweltering hot ones. My trip to New York was my one chance of a white Christmas and the snow decides to get lost and find its way to us two days post-Christmas. Nice one. Enough of the snow rant. Instead of snuggling up under a blanket in . . .
