Scrabble Typography

Letters that Pop

Having a personal interest in hand-lettering, I flip through a whole lot of stuff on a daily basis. This particular one caught my attention today - Turkish graphic designer and electrical engineer Tolga Girgin experiments with calligraphy, making the letters seem to pop off the page. Through shading, shadows and different forms of perspective, they're given a new kind of life on the page. Really . . .

Wobbly Type

Jelly is delicious to gobble, a treat enjoyed by both children and adults. Love Letters

Apparently I've become quite the design-nerd since starting work at my agency. Perhaps that is true, as I found this proposal kinda cute. San Francisco-based designer Will Geddess recently proposed to his girlfriend through the use of typographic posters.
