With a creative mind and a whole lot of patience, Motoi Yamamoto created a sculpture named “Forest of Beyond”, solely using grains of salt. The massively intricate installation resembles the roots of a tree and was displayed at the Hakone Open Air Museum. Attendees were asked to help dissemble it bit by bit, by taking the salt with them and returning it to the sea to create a complete cycle.
